Feather & Frame Taxidermy

Turkey feather mounts

Turkey fan and wing art, framed from your gobbler.

The fan, the wings, and the body feathers from your turkey, laid by hand into a hardwood frame. A clean way to keep a spring bird on the wall without a full mount.

Subspecies

Rio Grande, Merriam's, Eastern, and the rest.

Each subspecies brings a different fan. Rio Grande fans carry tan tips, Merriam's carry bright white tips, and Easterns carry dark chestnut tips. The board is built around whatever your bird brings.

First bird or grand slam

A first gobbler or a slam bird is worth more than a fan stapled to a board. Tell me the story and we'll lay it out around it.

Keep the meat

Turkeys can be caped out before they ship, so you keep the meat and still get the board.

Book any time

Spring birds can be booked whenever you're ready. Freeze it after the hunt and message me to hold a slot.

Sending your turkey

Freeze it, pack it, ship it.

Freeze the bird solid, double bag it, and ship it overnight in a styrofoam cooler inside a box. Whole turkeys get a $100 cleaning fee, so caping it out saves you money.
